Is it safe to buy a used car from Japan with TokyoCarZ?

Yes. TokyoCarZ is an official JUMVEA member (ID 000714) and the brand has exported Japanese cars since 2017. Before you pay anything we send real photos and a live video of your exact car, share the original auction sheet, and accept secure payment by bank transfer, PayPal or Wise against a documented invoice.

Can TokyoCarZ buy a car for me directly from a Japanese auction?

Yes. We give you free access to every major Japanese auction, including USS, TAA and JU, with more than 70,000 live lots each week. We inspect the car before the sale, bid on your behalf, and handle export and shipping.

Do you inspect the car before I buy?

Always. Every car gets a free pre-purchase inspection, and we translate the Japanese auction sheet grade into plain English so you know the true condition, mileage and any faults before you commit.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?

We ship by Ro-Ro or container and show your full landed cost before you commit, with no hidden fees. Typical transit is about two weeks to New Zealand and Australia, 35 to 40 days to East Africa, about a month to the US west coast, and around 60 days to Europe.

Which countries can I import to, and what are the rules?

We ship to over 100 countries and handle all export documents. Rules vary by destination, for example Kenya allows right-hand-drive cars under eight years old, the United States uses the 25-year classic rule, and Australia follows the SEVS scheme. We guide you through the rules for your country first.

Can I import a classic or JDM car like a Skyline GT-R or Supra?

Yes. Direct auction access lets us source rare JDM and collector cars, fully inspected, and we help with 25-year-rule imports to the United States and Canada.

How do I pay, and what happens after I pay?

You pay securely by bank transfer, PayPal or Wise against a clear proforma invoice. After payment we prepare every export document, load your car, and share tracking from Japan all the way to your port.
