Is it cheaper to import a Honda from Japan than buy locally?

Yes, used Honda stock from Japan usually works out cheaper than local dealer prices, even after shipping and duties. Sourcing direct from Japan's wholesale auctions and dealer stock cuts out the local markup. The exact saving depends on the model, your country's duties, and the exchange rate. Ask us for a landed-cost breakdown for your port.

Which used Honda is best to import from Japan?

It depends on your use, but the Fit, Vezel, Freed, and CR-V are the most imported for good reason. The Fit keeps running costs low, the Vezel adds crossover space, the Freed seats seven in a compact body, and the CR-V handles longer trips. Match the model to your roads and budget, and check the auction grade before you bid.

Are Japanese Honda hybrids reliable to import?

Yes, Honda's hybrids are a sound import, since the Fit Hybrid, Vezel Hybrid, and Insight use a proven petrol-electric setup that mechanics understand. The batteries are serviceable in most markets, and the auction sheet shows the real state of a specific car. On an older hybrid, judge it by the sheet and the photos rather than the odometer alone.

Is the Honda Vezel the same as the HR-V?

Yes, the Honda Vezel is sold as the HR-V in most export markets, so they're the same car under two names. Japan keeps the Vezel name, which is why you'll see it on auction sheets and stock lists from Japan. The body and specification are the same, so don't let the badge confuse your search.

Are Japanese used Hondas right-hand or left-hand drive?

Most are right-hand drive, which suits markets like East Africa, the Caribbean, South Asia, and Oceania. Japan drives on the left, so its cars are built right-hand drive. For left-hand-drive markets, we supply suitable stock or arrange a conversion.
